Tuesday, March 9 is a great night to love beer.
First, at 5:00 PM you can tune in to Beer Sessions on the Heritage Radio Network (tell all your friends you listened to the show before iTunes picked it up- which should happen next week!). Civilization of Beer mastermind, Samuel Merritt will co-host with our own Jimmy Carbone as they interview Beerlord (aka Toby Egan), Ben Wiley of Brooklyn's Bar Great Harry, and Brandon Moore of American Beer Distributing.
Then, at 7:30 PM, you can head over to Jimmy's No. 43 to see a screening of American Beer, the true story of five friends visiting 38 breweries in 40 days. Brandon Moore will at the screening as will the filmmaker, Paul Kermizian of Barcade. $20 gets you admission to the screening (seating is limited) and a growler of McNeill's (or a pint of something else).
Growlers? Does this mean...? Yes. Jimmy's has growlers!
