"Dependably Delicious, Not to Mention Interesting..."

Writers Karen Page and Andrew Dornenburg (Andrew pictured to the left raising a glass with Jimmy) visited Jimmy's No. 43 in early June and sampled a feast of appetizers. In particilar they enjoyed the house-made octopus and heirloom pig head cheese, the locally made ossabaw hog coppa, and the charred tomato gazpacho with soft shell crab. They are great supporters of NYC chefs and restaurants; we particulary like their revised Becoming a Chef book, with a chapter titled "Persevering in the Face of Reality". It is a bible for culinary students.

Italian Beers on Draught THIS WEEK!

Jimmy's No. 43 is featuring 2 very rare (and delicious) Italian beers on draught this week. Some of you may have tasted either of these in bottle at certain beer bars. Jimmy's No. 43 will be serving both on draught this week. In fact, as far as we know, this is the only time in NYC that both of these exquisite beers have been made available on draught at one location.

1. Birrificio di Piccolo, Seson Saison style, flavored with chinotto
2. Birrificio di Como, double malted stout

Come out and try something new!
