Oyster Night

On Thursday, September 10 a unique event (400 years in the making) will take place at Jimmy's No. 43. Slow Food NYC and Slow Food Amsterdam will be celebrating the 400th Anniversary of Henry Hudson's voyage to New York by indulging in locally harvested oysters and regional beer.

At Jimmy's No. 43, there will be a $5.00 admission which will serve as a donation to our friends at Slow Food NYC. Ommegang will be on tap and $4 will get you a plate of 3 oysters- including Peconic Pearls, from the Peconic Estuary of the East End of Long Island, and Mystics, from the Mystic River Estuary of Connecticut. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the oysters will benefit the efforts of the Peconic Land Trust, preserving the worked farms and waters of the East End of Long Island.

Call for table reservations or first come, first served at the door.
