A recent
New York Times article points out the culinary wonder that is 7th Street in the East Village. My favorite chef, Sarah Jenkins, opened
Porchetta, which is mentioned in the article. Let's walk the 7th Street Eats Tour! For me it starts at
Jimmy's No. 43 with a fancy hot dog (
Flying Pigs Farm chorizo or bratwurst, with ramps, and
SchoolHouse Kitchen mustard on a bun) and a
Sixpoint Bengali Tiger IPA. It ends a few hours later, back at Jimmy's No. 43, with a
Brooklyn Reserve "Intensified Coffee Stout" and some housemade ginger snap cookies.
